1. Is it open to every organisations whatever the kind of organisation, the size, sector of the activity?

In 2022, WeNR Standard is a tool open to all organizations for a period from end of April to July:

The challenge is to allow as many organizations as possible to measure the footprint of their IS. However, using WeNR requires a strong commitment to complete the entire file.

A second session could be organised in September 2022.

2. What are the conditions for using WeNR (commercial/non-commercial use, etc.)?

In 2022, WeNR is a free-to-use tool for all organizations. It is also free to share. WeNR cannot be modified.

Regarding commercial use of WeNR in 2022: you may not use WeNR as a commercial counterparty because access to the tool is free. However, you can advise a client organization to use WeNR as part of the support of this organization, your added value may be in the assistance in the collection of data to be submitted as in the analysis of the results received.

In 2022, only organizations that want a report on their Information System footprint can submit their completed questionnaire. This means that if a service provider accompanies the organization in the assessment of its Information Systeme footprint with WeNR, it is up to an internal person of the accompanied organization to submit WeNR and not the service provider on assignment.

3. How will questionnaires returned with partially completed data be handled?

Questionnaires that are not complete cannot be reviewed. You will not receive any feedback from ISIT Europe to let you know that your report will not be returned.

However, ISIT Europe is aware that it is very difficult to answer 100% of the questions in WeNR because sometimes you may not have the data for certain indicators. Therefore, questionnaires with more than 95% response will be processed. Any data that is not completed will be supplemented with average values based on the responses of the other questionnaires.

4. How long do I have to return the results?

You can send your questonnaire until mid-September 2023. After this date, we cannot assure you that your questionnaire will be processed by our team.

5. In what form will the results be sent?

The results will be sent in PDF format privately to each participant. The full report will provide the metrics and summary of the sustainable IT maturity level based on the data you provide in your responses.

The ISIT Europe member organizations will have comparative elements in their report that will allow them to situate themselves in relation to the average of other companies. All data will always be anonymous.

6. When will the results be sent?

The first round of results will be sent early October 2023 for all reports submitted before the deadlines indicated in Question 4.

7. How will the data I send be used?

Your data will be used in two ways:

The data will be used confidentially and processed in a report that will be delivered to you personally.
The data will be used in a confidential and anonymized way in order to use it in a study framework allowing the deployment of a complete report on the IS footprint of organizations in France. By submitting the questionnaire to ISIT Europe, you agree that your data will be anonymized for use in the framework explained above.

8. What additional data will the member organizations of the various ISIT Europe have access to?

ISIT Europe member organizations will have access to comparative data that will allow them to benchmark themselves against the average of other organizations in the study.

They will then be able to better understand the footprint they are measuring and identify where they are ahead or behind. The report then becomes a decision-making tool.

9. What software do I need on my computer to use WeNR?

The WeNR questionnaire is an .xslx file that can be used with an Excel-type file reader.

WeNR’s ultimate goal is to be accessible to everyone, which means a high level of compatibility with all existing office tools (Libre Office, Only Office, Collabora Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheet, etc.).

Nevertheless – and even if we encourage the use of open source softwares, not being able to ensure a multitude of versions according to the different tools available, we had to make a pragmatic choice to be able to reach the largest number of organizations.

It appeared to us that currently, a majority of organizations use Excel. Wishing to offer you this tool as soon as possible, we chose to work with Excel 2016. That is why this version of WeNR could only be tested with this version of Excel.

We will update the list of WeNR compatible tools as our testing progresses.

10. How does ISIT Europe guarantee data privacy?

ISIT Europe guarantees that the data received will remain confidential. As the tool is off-line, there is no risk of on-line data piracy. For the delivery of the report, ISIT will set up a private secure space where the storage time will be very limited via the service https://theconnected.app.

ISIT Europe commits to destroying the data according to the rules defined in our Privacy and Data Protection Charter. The length of data retention is necessary to establish overall averages with all other responding organizations.

11. What is the process for submitting the WeNR questionnaire?
